I assume a lot, or many, or all of you reading this are familiar with the glorious weather we have here in St. Louis, right? I've heard people say that they like living in places that experience all four seasons, and I'm on board with that. The problem in St. Louis is that on any given day in the year, one could very potentially experience weather from any of the four seasons and on the following day, experience the polar opposite type of weather. Long story short, I got my annual cold/sinus thing a little early this year - it ALWAYS happens when the weather goes from normal cold to unusually warm - and was a little under the weather last week.
Also, I handled it like a toddler.
And I didn't get much done.
But...prior to that, and here and there last week when my cold/sinus thing wasn't keeping me bedridden, and this week, I've worked on a few projects.
One such project was the design of a set of built-in bookshelves:
And another project, which is still getting wrapped up, is a small reclaimed wood headboard:
I took this pic before any real sanding or poly, and the picture isn't even decent to begin with, so this isn't the final version...but I filmed the build, and the video for that ought to be up on the YouTube in the next day or two...
